The new Apterra HT5 is a premium highway terrain tire designed specifically for the core SUV segment, where “urban sophistication meets highway dominance”, the tire maker said.
Built for India’s diverse SUVs like the Fortuner, Endeavour and Scorpio, the Apterra HT5 delivers strong grip, long life, comfort and durability, and performs reliably on highways and in demanding driving conditions.
Designed and developed at Apollo Tyres Global R&D Centre in Chennai, the Apterra HT5 will be manufactured at the company’s Andhra Pradesh and Chennai facilities.

Featuring advanced Armour Technology and a Hybrid Fill Compound, the tire is designed to offer high-performing cut resistance, improved mileage and extended tread life for both heavy use and long-distance travel.
The Dynamic Pattern design adapts seamlessly to varying road conditions, delivering enhanced traction and confident braking. This ensures control and stability, especially at higher speeds. Precision-engineered tread sipes balance block stiffness to effectively absorb road harshness, resulting in a smoother and more comfortable driving experience.
