According to Continental, the ContiMotion EVO combines several product improvements and is aimed at riders who value a balanced combination of riding pleasure, safety and mileage.
“With the ContiMotion EVO, we’re offering a versatile sport touring tire,” said Christoph Ettenhuber, head of the motorcycle tires business field at Continental. “It combines intuitive handling with reliable grip in both wet and dry conditions – all while delivering impressive mileage for everyday use.”
Technical upgrades
Compared with its predecessor, the ContiMotion EVO features several technical updates. New carcass materials are intended to improve stability and consistency, supporting handling and riding dynamics. Updated compounds are also designed to improve wet- and dry-weather performance.
The optimized hybrid silica tread compound reportedly improves the ContiMotion EVO’s wet grip without compromising mileage.
The ContiMotion EVO has four key features: intuitive handling and agility, supported by Continental’s EasyHandling technology and optimized tire construction; grip in wet and dry conditions through an optimized hybrid-silica tread compound; high mileage through its compound and tread pattern; and high-speed stability enabled by ZeroDegree steel-belt construction and new carcass materials.
“The ContiMotion EVO has been upgraded in key areas without losing the fundamental renowned qualities of its predecessor,” explained Ettenhuber. “Riders benefit from a tire that is noticeably more agile.”
The tire maker says the ContiMotion EVO is designed for sporty weekend riders as well as touring enthusiasts.
“The ContiMotion EVO is compatible with a wide range of popular naked bikes, roadsters and modern classics,” added Ettenhuber.
