With its international growth strategy in the retreading market, TRM has expressed its interests in South America and specifically Brazil.

A recent event in Germany provided the ideal opportunity for Roberto de Olivera, president of the ABR (Brazilan Retreading Association) and ALARNEU (Latin American Retreading Association) to discuss the requirements of these markets.

Marcelo Amorim, an expert with extensive experience in retreading in the region, will support the company.

The Brazilian market is facing great challenges coming from a concentration of the activity in large retreaders, the pressure on cost efficiency, and compliance to the NR12 safety norm. TRM has in its portfolio all the answers to these requirements and the expertise to work in a similar environment,” said Alessandro Villa, TRM MD.

“We are looking with great interest at the market despite the import duties and the unfavorable exchange rate.”
