Radical has selected Hankook as the exclusive supplier for both its racing and road vehicle models. This will include the Ventus Race in the slick (F200) and rain versions (Z207), which are designed especially for racing, and the Ventus S1 Evo² for road cars.
Through the new partnership the tire maker will gain widespread publicity across the UK in the Radical SR1 Cup; in the USA at the North American Masters; at the European Masters; and at the cup series in the Middle East, Canada, Australia and Scandinavia.
Hankook-equipped models from the British sports car manufacturer will include the Radical SR8 GT racing car; the SR1; the SR3; the RXC600R; RXC GT3 versions; the RCX Spyder; and the RXC GT Road. The latter will be equipped with Ventus S1 Evo² tires in sizes 215/45 ZR 17 or 245/45 ZR 17 at the front and 265/35 ZR 18 at the rear, depending on the weight of the vehicle and its intended road use.
