Marangoni enters into new partnership in Canary Islands

Expanding its market presence on the Canary Islands, Marangoni Retreading Systems has entered into a partnership with truck and bus retreading company Boleca. This retreading facility is located in El Goro, Las Palmas, while its sales outlets are spread throughout the islands of Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura.

Marangoni has had a presence on the Canary Islands for more than 20 years, and this new partnership will enable the company to strengthen its business in this area. The Canary Islands, despite the recent economic crisis, still account for an important share of the Spanish market (>10%), due to the islands’ highly abrasive road surfaces.

Carmen Delia Peñate, manager of Boleca, said, “This partnership with Marangoni Retreading Systems allows us to deliver our customers the best that retreading has to offer, Ringtread, which is the only circular retread. Joint-free, they adhere perfectly to the casing, without any tension or deformation, ensuring faster processing times and less waste, with the same performance as or even higher performance than new tires”.
