JK Tyre appoints Vivek Kamra as new president

Vivek Kamra has been newly appointed as president for India, at JK Tyre. His predecessor, Arun K Bajoria, has been promoted to director and president of international operations.

Kamra joins JK Tyre with extensive experience in spearheading businesses for almost a decade and prior to joining he was based in Singapore as president and CEO for NatSteel Holdings. He has attended a business management program at INSEAD and holds a B.Tech degree from IIT Mumbai.

Bajoria has over 20 years’ experience with the company and will be leading JK Tyre’s international operations including JK Tornel, Mexico and special strategic assignments. Dr Raghupati Singhania, chairman and MD, JK Tyre said, “I am sure that Mr Kamra will provide adept leadership and lead JK Tyre on a new growth trajectory.”
