Giti Tire has become the latest tire manufacturer to join the GPSNR (Global Platform for Sustainable Natural Rubber).

The global organization dedicates itself to maintaining the natural rubber value chain, and seeks to ensure it stays a fair, equitable and sustainable process. The group works with a range of tire manufacturers around the globe to improve rubber creation, procurement and supply, with the goal of creating positive offsetting solutions within the sector.

As a full member, Giti joins leading tire companies and OEMs including BMW, Volkswagen, Ford and Toyota, in working toward the shared objective of a natural rubber supply chain that can stay economically and environmentally sustainable.

Alongside its membership in the GPSNR, Giti is continuing to support green manufacturing techniques, environmental protection methods, education and other environmentally friendly processes. The GPSNR also places its goals in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
