Cooper Tire Europe has launched its new Evolution Van tire.

The product features a durable tread compound for a long lifespan and achieves a ‘B’ for wet grip on the EU label. Protective kerbing ‘wear ribs’ measuring 1.5mm on the sidewall improve the longevity of the tire. Also, a sidewall ‘buffer’ helps to reduce premature wear and minimize kerbing damage.

According to Cooper, the tire is designed to deliver overall excellent value for money, as not only is it durable and strong, it also offers low rolling resistance, so less fuel is used.

In terms of performance, the newly developed silica-rich compound tread is designed to provide stability when braking in wet conditions, and handling performance.

Michiel Kramer, marketing director for Cooper Tire Europe, said, “Our new Evolution Van tire has been developed in our European Technical Centre to suit the needs of its users, with a durable construction, high safety levels and an extensive fitment range covering more than 80% of the market. The Cooper Evolution Van strengthens our claim that Cooper tires are built to last.”
