ATG improves durability performance of its FarmPRO tires

The ATG team recently demonstrated the performance of its Alliance FarmPRO tires in the heart of Maremma, in the Tuscany region of Italy, in a series of tests that was conducted with the co-owners of Menghini Tires, an ATG dealer based in Braccagni, Italy.

This R-1W tire is available in 30 sizes, from rim sizes of 20in up to 46in, making it ideal for both front and rear axle fitments on most MFWA tractors.

“Our FarmPRO tires have been upgraded with an improved compound to increase hardness, tensile strength and cut and snags resistance, and to reduce abrasion loss,” said Emiliano Bertolini, ATG field engineer for the Italian market.

Castello Banfi, a wine producer in the region, recently purchased 60 brand new FarmPRO 85-842 and FarmPRO II 846 (280/85 R20 and 380/85 R28) tires that have been fitted on New Holland T4050 tractors working among the vineyards of Montalcino in Tuscany. After 250 hours, the condition of the tires remained as good as new.

“They have already proved to be really resistant to cuts and wear and their higher tread depth guarantees a good grip on both dry and wet ground,” added Gianni Savelli, Castello Banfi director.
