Ali Çalışkan to replace Cenk Alper as CEO at supplier Kordsa

Ali Çalışkan, who has served as the CEO of EMEA of Kordsa since July 2015, has been appointed as the new CEO at Kordsa. He replaces Cenk Alper, who has been appointed as group president of Sabancı Holding Industry.

Having graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Middle East Technical University, Çalışkan joined Kordsa in 1986 as technical office engineer. During his positions as operations director of Indo Kordsa, between 2010 and 2013, and as VP in charge of operations between 2013 and 2015, he played an important role in developing Kordsa’s capacity and enhancing market volume in the Asia Pacific region, which is strategically significant and has a growing tire industry.

In his position as CEO of EMEA, he played an important role in R&D leadership and growing the market share of Turkey, the production and R&D hub of all Kordsa facilities around the world.
