The Cooper Discoverer SRXLE has been chosen as original equipment on the new Mercedes-Benz GLE, which will be launched on the market this year. The premium all-season SUV and CUV tire will be available in sizes 255/50 R19XL and 275/50 R20.
It features an advanced construction designed to deliver maximum steering response, stability in handling maneuvers and a smooth, comfortable ride. With the latest tread technology, the SRXLE is also said to have excellent traction in all weather conditions and a low rolling resistance.
The special profile shape includes a finely tuned footprint that interacts with the road to enhance vehicle control. For added stability and vehicle handling, the SRXLE features Cooper’s Micro-Gauge Siping as well as Aqua Vac Channels, which are wide grooves in the tread, designed to improve the tire’s resistance to hydroplaning and provide more control and grip in heavy rain.
