A new rubber lab manager and rubber technologist has joined CCT Stegelitz. Pieter ter Haar will be responsible for CCT’s rubber laboratory and technology center, which is currently under construction and due to be operational in the third quarter of 2015. This modern facility will focus on the R&D and application engineering for recovered carbon black.

The news of ter Haar’s appointment follows the recent announcement that CCT is now officially a part of Pyrolyx. Former CCT CEO Philipp Theden has joined the management board of Pyrolyx. This is an exciting time for both companies; over the next three years Pyrolyx plans to invest approximately €30m (US$34m) into the increase of production capacities to establish the world’s largest environmentally sustainable producer of recovered carbon black from end-of-life tires, including expansion of CCT’s production site in Stegelitz, Germany.
