Guilin Rubber Machinery introduces smart logistics system

LinkedIn +

After a year of testing, Guilin Rubber Machinery has launched its smart logistics system for vulcanization workshops. Tire manufacturers in China still largely rely on manual workers and carts for production and logistics.

The system, which is currently patent pending, integrates a wide range of technologies such as automatic recognition, data mining, artificial intelligence and informatization, and is comprised of unmanned carts, a dispatch management system, a navigation system, an automatic charging system, a wireless communication network and a data collection system.

By coordinating the material flow, information flow and capital flow through smart manufacturing technologies, the system improves production efficiency and overall business efficiency, saving resources and reducing pollution.

According to the company, it has already received interest from many potential customers. On the basis of this smart logistics system, Guilin will proceed to build a complete IT platform for tire manufacturing.
