Aria Tire begins construction of state-of-the-art Iran plant

Gostaresh Aria Tire has began construction of its new factory in Zabol City, eastern Iran, according to local reports.

This facility, which covers an area of around 50ha, is reported to have an annual production capacity of 50,000 tons for light and heavy tires. Local news sources have quoted an investment figure of approximately US$202m. This factory was setup as part of the Iranian government’s aim to double the size of the Iranian tire industry by 2025.
