Giti Tire has expanded its AdvanZtech EV Ready line-up with the GitiWinterW2, a new model designed for electric, hybrid and internal combustion engine vehicles and launched for the 2025/26 winter season.
The GitiWinterW2 is the first winter tire in the AdvanZtech EV Ready program and is available in 17 sizes from 15in through to 20in rims. The tire has been designed and engineered using AdvanZtech, Giti Tire’s globally-integrated, company-wide R&D system, at its European Research & Development Centre in Hannover, Germany.
Each tire has been fine-tuned for torque stress for control and low rolling resistance for extended mileage without compromising its snow and wet performance characteristics. According to the manufacturer, the GitiWinterW2 has been designed to deliver a quiet and comfortable ride, enhanced safety and precise vehicle control.
Fabio Pecci-Boriani, deputy general manager for product planning PCR and LTR, Giti Tire R&D Centre (Europe), said, “The Giti brand was among the first in the mid-market to introduce an EV ready concept, ensuring maximum flexibility and product clarity for dealers and peace of mind for drivers.
“As is proven winter can have an impact on the performance of part-electric and electric vehicles with lower temperatures reducing battery range and immediate torque levels being tricky on slippery roads. The Giti AdvanZtech EV ready GitiWinterW2 goes a long way to addressing these issues.”
