ZC Rubber has introduced its Smart Tire system on the US market. It is said to enable significant cost savings for fleet managers and truck owners.

This cloud-based tire lifecycle management platform provides information and monitors the operational condition of tires for efficient tire maintenance. This includes monitoring of tire temperature and pressure, a vehicle’s position, vehicle (fleet) management and a fault alarm. Target vehicles are buses, logistics vehicles, dangerous goods vehicles and refrigerator trucks etc.

It is the first overseas launch of the new system. ZC Rubber will also roll out the system on other global markets, including Europe, Asia, Africa and South America according to the local demands.

In future there are plans to explore further functionality and extensions of the system, such as smart swap trailer transport, anti-theft devices for tires and smart pattern depth calculation.
