DVC Enterprises in Vancouver, British Columbia, has opened a ContiLifeCycle (CLC) commercial tire retread plant facility – the second of its kind in Western Canada.

The new 15,200ft² facility in Langley employs eight people and has the initial capacity to produce up to 20,000 retreads per year. CLC Vancouver will service more than 200 customers, and is outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment and technology for manufacturing retreads.

“Growing our ContiLifeCycle distribution across Canada is our most important objective. Partnering with service-focused distributors such as DVC Enterprises, in an effort to reduce overall driving costs to our fleet customers, will be what drives mutual success of both dealers and fleets,” said Paul Williams, Conti’s executive VP for commercial vehicle tires in the Americas.

“We could not have chosen a better partner for the province of British Columbia and look forward to many more of these partnerships that also help to bring jobs and boost the Canadian economy into the future.”
