A partnership between Omni United and GFG Style will see the Italian automotive design house designing Omni’s Radar brand. The collaboration seeks to bring contemporary design to the tire market while enhancing the consumer appeal of Radar’s products.

Until 2024, Omni and GFG Style plan to produce multiple design-driven, functional tire ranges, with the first, the Renegade-X, scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2022. The extreme off-road tire features a stealth-inspired tread block design and will be available in more than 40 sizes to suit diameters from 16in to 30in. In 2023, Omni plans to release a high-performance tire aimed at the sport, passenger car and SUV sector.

By using and combining Omni’s expertise in engineering and manufacturing, the partnership seeks to bring products to market that feature a balance of aesthetics and functionality.

The Italian design house GFG Style was created by Giorgetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro, a father and son team responsible for creating more than 300 production vehicle models and over 200 research prototypes for several high-end OEMs.

“The time has come to bring more sophisticated and contemporary design elements to the forefront of the tire industry. Omni has partnered with one of the most renowned automotive design companies in the world to meet this need,” commented G. S. Sareen, president and CEO at Omni United. “It is our mission to provide our customers with a value product that is focused on premium design. The same people who have designed some of the most iconic car brands will be designing our tires. In 2022, our customers will see an exciting new range of products with cutting-edge designs that will add even better aesthetics to their vehicles.”

“We are very excited to be collaborating with a forward-looking and dynamic company like Omni United, which has design in its DNA,” said Fabrizio Giugiaro, co-founder of GFG Style. “This is a collaboration where both Omni and GFG Style bring their respective expertise and experience to create products that offer a unique aesthetic as well as functionality. Over the next few years, we are looking to create a series of unique and groundbreaking products.”
