Michelin has introduced the next generation of its successful CrossClimate all-season tire range – the CrossClimate 3 and the CrossClimate 3 Sport. For the first time, Michelin is also offering a winter-compatible all-season version for sports cars and high-performance saloons.
The new CrossClimate range is suitable for all drive types – ICE, hybrid and electric – and for everything from small cars to family cars and sports cars.
The CrossClimate 3 range offers 4% more grip on wet roads and 15% longer service life compared to the previous generation. The tires will be available in 64 sizes from 16in to 20in from July 2025.
The CrossClimate 3 Sport features the 3PMSF marking, which means it is also suitable for wintry road conditions. Michelin has developed the tire to meet the requirements of sports car drivers who want to enjoy their vehicle all year round.
The new range features a number of technologies, including Michelin Dynamic Response – stemming from motorsport developments, the hybrid belt (made of aramid and nylon) transfers control impulses to the road and offers a reliable feeling of control.
It also features Michelin’s V-Shape technology, in which tread grooves become wider from the center to the shoulder, improving water drainage when new and when worn.
The CrossClimate 3 Sport will be available in 30 dimensions, with rim sizes from 18in to 21in. The largest will be 295/35 R21 107Y, also available from July 2025.
All tires in the CrossClimate 3 range are manufactured in Europe at Michelin’s plants in Bad Kreuznach (Germany), Valladolid (Spain), Vitoria (Spain), Nyíregyháza (Hungary), Cuneo (Italy), Olsztyn (Poland) and Pirot (Serbia). The dimensions with the most complex design are manufactured in Roanne (France).
The first generation CrossClimate was launched in 2015, followed by the second in 2021.
