The Galaxy all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and utility terrain vehicle (UTV) brand now includes two new flagship ranges – Hulk PSX and Everest PSX. According to brand owner Yokohama-ATG, the new tires build on Galaxy’s 100+ years’ legacy in delivering high-performance tire solutions.
Designed for off-road and utility applications, the Hulk PSX and Everest PSX tires reportedly ensure superior durability, longer life and enhanced traction across challenging terrains. According to Galaxy, they are engineered to provide excellent puncture resistance, stability and ride comfort, making them ideal for a wide range of utility and recreational operations.
Dyutiman Chattopadhyay, chief technology officer at Yokohama-ATG, said, “Building on its 100+ years legacy, Galaxy’s entry into the UTV/ATV category is a strategic step in strengthening its presence globally. These tires are designed to meet the evolving needs of customers seeking performance, reliability and durability in extreme conditions.”
Galaxy’s Hulk PSX is a tire developed for off-road UTV applications, featuring a durable compound for extended tire life, reinforced sidewalls for cut resistance, radial construction for high-speed stability, shoulder blocks to aid cornering and handling, a deep tread pattern for off-road traction and a high tread-to-void ratio for wear resistance and stability. It’s available in a range of sizes for 12in and 14in rims to fit various UTV configurations.
Galaxy’s Everest PSX is designed for utility-focused UTV applications, featuring high resistance to cuts, chips and abrasions; a tread pattern intended to improve on-road usability and reduce vibration; wet-surface grip and stability; and rim protection with puncture resistance. It’s offered in sizes for 12in, 14in and 15in rims to fit a range of UTV applications.
