Apollo Tyres has expanded its AWE 723+ dual excavator tire range with the addition of two new sizes for mid-size excavators up to 16 metric tons and compact models between six and 10 metric tons. The additions were unveiled last week at the Bauma 2025 show.
The addition of the 280/70-22.5 and 220/80-17.5 to the AWE 723+ range enables it to cater for excavators from six metric tons up to 26 metric tons, with the expanded portfolio giving operators more choice for a wider range of applications. Apollo Tyres notes that the expanded range will be available for order across Europe starting this quarter.
The AWE 723+ features a tubeless diagonal construction designed to provide superior stability and durability, Apollo says. The tire eliminates the need for a spacer to prevent sand, stones and debris from getting stuck between tires, while its broad dual tread provides additional sidewall protection. Its design delivers a larger footprint to enhance traction, stability and flotation on softer soils.
“Launching this extended range at Bauma was a big moment for us,” said Laurence Bennett , head off-highway tyres at Apollo Tyres. “It reflects the growing strength of our portfolio and the dedication of our teams who brought it to life. As infrastructure and construction activity continue to expand across Europe and beyond, Apollo Tyres’ expanded range is poised to meet growing demand for dependable and tough off-highway tires.”
In related news, Giti Tire recently launched the GSR237 Evo and the GDR675 Evo, the first in a series of new truck and bus tires to carry the ‘Evo’ name – which signifies energy saving solutions through vastly improved rolling resistance coefficients (RRC). Click here to read the full story.
