A manufacturer of natural gas-based carbon black, Monolith Materials has named Chris Cornille as its chief commercial and supply chain officer. Cornille has more than 33 years of experience in the specialty chemicals industry, including his most recent role as senior vice president of supply chain services for SI Group. “Chris’s unparalleled experience building customer-centric supply networks speaks for itself. I can’t think of anyone more qualified to bring Monolith’s innovations in carbon black to the various customers and markets we plan to serve,” said Rob Hanson, CEO for Monolith.

Cornille added, “Having served as an advisor for the last six years, I know first-hand that Monolith is a dynamic company with innovations that will change the way the world sees carbon black. I’m thrilled to take an active, day-to-day role in helping to shape Monolith’s future, while introducing a new and innovative approach to creating carbon black to the market.”

Cornille received his bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Benedictine University in 1986.
