Two new appointments have been made at Marangoni: Gianluca Merlo, in addition to managing the company’s plant in Rovereto, is now responsible for operations in Italy and as a result, will manage the factory in Ferentino, too; and Michele Bergese has been made head of human resources.
In a semi-annual meeting at Marangoni, during which the company takes stock of the latest news and sales strategies, special certificates were presented to four employees for their contribution to the business – Roberto Santorum and Mike Carter, who have been with Marangoni for 40 years; Luciano Meta, who has bee with the Italian company for 30 years; and Christian Asmuth, who has 25 years’ service.
On the occasion the group also held a formal dinner to mark the retirement of engineer Giuseppe Ferrari, who stepped down at the beginning of the year, and Christoph Frost, who has taken over as manager of indirect retreading for the EMEA.
“On the one hand, this group is lucky to be able to count on the vast experience and professionalism of people who have spent their working life for Marangoni, and on the other, to leverage the enthusiasm and freshness of new generations of managers to build Marangoni for the future,” commented CEO Dino Maggioni.
