Tire cavity noise is considered a major component of discomfort by today’s car users, so finding a solution to reduce this noise is of high importance to tire and vehicle manufacturers. However reducing tire cavity noise is a relatively new challenge for car makers when it comes to new vehicle projects and facelifts.

Most tire manufacturers have chosen a foam solution within the cavity to solve this problem. Seeb Automation is at the forefront of industrial development in the field of tire and wheel assembly. It recently developed and introduced to the market patented equipment that enables the fitting of the foam solution directly into the tire’s cavity using an automatic mode of operation that includes the gluing process.

During the development of this product, Seeb Automation focused on achieving repeatability, flexibility and ensuring a short cycle time. The system is already operational on an industrial scale.
