Mazda has selected Bridgestone Potenza S001 tires as original equipment on the all-new, 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata Club and Grand Touring models. The Potenza S001 is said to combine high-speed agility with a comfortable ride and offers low rolling resistance with maximum grim in dry and wet conditions.

“Bridgestone has a long history of working with Mazda to develop premium tire solutions for its sports cars,” said Mike Martini, president, original equipment, US and Canada consumer tire sales divisions, Bridgestone Americas tire operations.

“The fourth generation of the Mazda MX-5 is a perfect platform to showcase the innovation and performance of the Bridgestone Potenza S001 tire.”
