The Bridgestone Asia Pacific Technical Center (APTC) has successfully relocated to a new building in Pathum Thani Province, Thailand.

As part of the move Bridgestone has installed new machinery that will enable it to produce tires that are better suited to the market needs.

“In order to achieve top quality in the Asia Pacific markets – which continue to grow and change rapidly – Bridgestone believes that APTC must strengthen its framework for research and development. This will enable Bridgestone to provide the best products for a diverse groups of customers,” said Hideki Komatsu, VP and senior officer, global innovation, Bridgestone Corporation.

Naoto Yamagishi, MD of Bridgestone APTC, commented, “By working close to the markets, APTC will enable Bridgestone to grasp changes in our customers’ needs and reflect them in the development of our products.”
