The technical innovations and expert insights keep on coming at Tire Technology Expo, where visitors are thronging the halls on Day 2 of Europe’s most influential trade event for tire manufacturing technology and materials. Read on to get just a taste of what’s been grabbing their attention today.

EcopowerEcopower spotlights innovative silane and functional resin solutions
Ecopower is showcasing its latest advances in sulfur-containing silane coupling agents, silane polymers and functional resins, designed to enhance tire performance and sustainability. The company’s new generation of silane coupling agents provides superior filler-polymer interaction, improving abrasion resistance, wet grip and durability while reducing rolling resistance and heat build-up. Sales manager Faye Lin said, “We are exhibiting at Tire Technology Expo to meet global tire and rubber manufacturers and introduce our latest silane and resin solutions that improve performance and process efficiency.”

Calemard by Spoolex.Calemard by Spoolex highlights performance and precision in tire manufacturing
Used for reinforcement in tire manufacturing, aramid provides strength and high-speed stability. Calemard by Spoolex offers dedicated solutions for cutting this material: the Orion G1000 ensures bias cutting on textile liners with shear cut technology, loop tension regulation and pre-cut liner insertion. Thanks to its proven expertise and optimized processes, Spoolex can refurbish a complete machine in less than three weeks. “Tire Technology Expo brings together the global tire market. It’s the perfect stage to demonstrate how our precision-engineered and fully automated solutions redefine efficiency and reliability,” explained Christian Montusclat, the Calemard by Spoolex sales director.

UP Labels.UP-Labels spotlights high-performance tire sidewall marketing systems
Visitors to the UP-Labels booth are enjoying live demonstrations of the UP-Tireworks application process. The company’s latest development enables tire manufacturers to apply custom micro-decals featuring logos, safety icons or product-specific data directly to the tire sidewall. The micro-decals are applied during the final finishing stage of production and are compatible with semi- and fully automated processes. They are exceptionally thin, delivering a discreet ‘no-label’ look that blends with the tire sidewall. “Tire Technology Expo is our premier stage to showcase innovation, spark new business and deepen existing partnerships through high-level industry dialogue,” said the company’s CEO, Gerald Ullrich.

See the live demo for yourself at Booth 2057.

Zeppelin.Zeppelin features smart, sustainable tire production
Behind every tire lies a sophisticated blend of up to 50 raw materials, increasingly enriched with high-quality recyclates. Zeppelin Systems brings control through modular storage, gentle pneumatic conveying for sensitive fillers, and intelligent dosing and weighing systems that deliver materials exactly when and where needed. “Tire Technology Expo enables us to connect with decision-makers across the global tire industry and demonstrate how advanced plant engineering and sustainable, specialist materials handling solutions for the mixing room enhance tire performance for both existing and new customers,” stated John Eaton, global market manager at Zeppelin Systems.

Learn more about Zeppelin Systems’ products at Booth 7065.

Siemens.Siemens presents digital solutions for futureproof tire production
Siemens is showcasing its solutions for safe and efficient tire production. Visitors to the booth are discovering how the company’s automated guided vehicles and fleet manager ensure seamless material flows, while advanced simulation optimizes tire performance and production steps. Siemens’ manufacturing execution system provides real-time insights for enhanced operational efficiency, and its solutions for mechanical and chemical recycling significantly boost resource efficiency and sustainability in tire material processing. “Tire Technology Expo is a fantastic platform for us to meet senior leaders and have meaningful conversations about the tire lifecycle. The show also gives us the opportunity to demonstrate that we are the number-one company in industrial AI software. Being located among fellow technical specialists, we are able to showcase how automation will shape the future of industrial production,” said Peter Haan, Siemens’ head of global VM tire.
