Continental has received two new approvals to supply OE tires for selected Porsche models. The auto maker has approved the SportContact 7 and new SportContact 7 Force for the Panamera G3 II, while recommending the WinterContact TS 860 S for the Cayenne E4 during colder months.
All three tires are approved in 21in and 22in sizes and feature XL markings, indicating increased load capacity.
The SportContact 7 is a summer tire designed for responsive handling. Its rubber compound and tread pattern are optimized for grip and braking performance on dry and wet roads, while also providing stability at high speeds.
The new SportContact 7 Force has been developed for higher performance and stability. Its adaptive tread pattern and rubber compound have been designed to improve handling and power transfer under demanding conditions, while retaining suitability for everyday driving.
For the Cayenne E4, Porsche recommends the WinterContact TS 860 S for colder months. The winter tire has been designed for high-performance SUVs, and offers short braking distances and precise handling on dry roads, as well as traction in snow. Its low rolling resistance can also help increase the range of electric vehicles.
