A Danish haulage company has chosen to equip its vehicles with Marangoni’s Blackline RDG101 all-season regional retread. Bach & Pedersen’s 52 trucks and 90 trailers run on the tires in sizes 315/60 R22.5 and 315/70 R22.5.

The Blackline RDG101 features a non-directional pattern that is ideal for drive axles running on medium and long distances. The tread features a high number of blocks and sipes and is characterized by an interlock tread system that is designed to ensure good wear resistance.

Bach & Pedersen was established in 2010 on the foundations of two old local freight companies with their headquarters located in Randers, Bach & Søn Freight and Ove Pedersen.

Vulkan Randers, which has worked with Marangoni since 1975, is the chosen Marangoni Ringtread supplier of the Blackline RDG101 for the Bach & Pedersen fleet. Vulkan Randers has been working for Bach & Pedersen since the fleet’s inception in 2010. Bach & Pedersen has gradually seen improved performance in its retread policy; Marangoni’s Blackline RDG101 achieves an average service mileage of 200,000-225,000km.

Jörgen Spanggaard Bach, fleet and vehicle manager at Bach & Pedersen, said, “The performance of this model is remarkable. Its high mileage ensures a low cost per kilometer and it offers unbeatable traction, which is very important during the winter in a country like Denmark. This deep trust in our retread policy has enabled us to focus more on our core business.”
