Cooper Tires has introduced a new summer tire portfolio for the EMEA region, covering passenger car and SUV applications across ultra-high-performance (UHP), high-performance (HP) and SUV segments.
The Cooper Summer range includes 162 SKUs, spanning rim sizes from 14in to 21in, and is designed to cover around 81% of high-demand fitments in the region. The company said the portfolio is also EV-ready across all products.
The launch coincides with the rollout of Cooper’s updated global brand identity, reflecting a focus on durability and consistent on-road performance.
The new range has been developed around three key performance areas: energy efficiency, wet braking and tread wear. According to Cooper, the tire features a lightweight casing and optimized material distribution aimed at reducing rolling resistance while maintaining stability, supporting both internal combustion and electric vehicle applications.
For wet conditions, the tire uses an asymmetric tread pattern with enlarged outer shoulder blocks to improve braking stability, while groove distribution is designed to enhance water evacuation and reduce aquaplaning risk.
Tread wear performance is supported by a combination of stiffer ribs and a balanced footprint to promote even pressure distribution, alongside a compound designed to maintain stiffness over the tire’s lifespan. The construction is also intended to support durability without compromising comfort.
“With the Cooper Summer range, we set out to build a summer portfolio drivers can rely on without hesitation” said Ben Glesener, senior technology director product development consumer EMEA. “We engineered this portfolio around three benefits that matter most – energy efficiency, confident wet braking and strong tread wear – and made sure every element of the tire works together to support them. From the asymmetric tread pattern to the lightweight yet robust casing, Cooper Summer delivers balanced performance without compromise. It’s a significant step forward for Cooper in EMEA, and a clear expression of what the brand stands for today: dependable performance, built with purpose.”
Cooper said the range is intended to support dealers through the 2026 summer season, targeting consistent performance across a wide range of everyday driving conditions.
