New sizes of Mitas cyclic harvesting operation tires now available

Mitas is expanding its range of cyclic harvesting operation (CHO) tires with the introduction of two new sizes.

CHO tires are designed for combine harvesters, grain carts and other types of agricultural equipment. Their unique construction features hexacore technology, steel breakers and flexible sidewalls and enables for larger loads at a lower tire pressure to protect the soil.

Pavel Kott, product manager for Mitas agricultural tires, said, “Cyclic loads when filling and emptying corn tanks, for instance, can vary significantly, by more than twice in some cases. At high inflation pressures, this leads to soil compaction. The solution is a Mitas CHO tire as it is capable of carrying more load at a lower tire pressure.”
