Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels showcased new sizes for two of its popular off-road tires at the recent SEMA aftermarket show in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Beginning in 2020, the Baja Boss premium extreme mud terrain tire line adds 15 new sizes. Featuring an asymmetrical tread pattern that reduces noise while improving handling, and deep and wide voids that enhance off-road traction and forward bite, the Baja Boss’s new sizes open up a wider variety of truck, SUV and 4×4 applications in 15-24in wheel diameters.

“With its next-generation four-pitch Sidebiters providing unparalleled off-road traction and new PowerPly XD three-ply sidewall construction for greater puncture resistance, quicker steering response and greater stability, the Baja Boss has quickly become the go-to tire for trail riders looking to tackle the toughest terrain,” said Ken Warner, VP of marketing at Mickey Thompson.

Meanwhile, five new sizes have also been added to the off-road-only Baja Pro X tire line. The company says that dual decoupling grooves provide added flexibility on irregular surfaces while the Treadbiter cleats provide added traction, making the Baja Pro X ideal for a variety of extreme environments.

In other news, Mickey Thompson Tires and Wheels has been awarded an Export Achievement Certificate from the US Department of Commerce for its efforts to increase sales and strengthen business relationships in China and the Middle East.
