New addition to Pirelli’s Diablo Rosso line-up

Pirelli has added a new tire to its Diablo Rosso range for motorcycles – the high-performance ‘hypersport’ IV Corsa, which features a slicker tread design (to increase footprint area) and optimized compound selection to maximize mechanical grip.

The tire has been specified for hard handling, with a number of Pirelli design innovations ensuring adherence to the micro-roughness of asphalt. The tread pattern has been carefully designed (with a broken lightning visual style) to be highly stress resistant and offer optimum thermal balance.

The new tire sits above the Rosso IV and is billed as “fiercer” version of its sibling, pitched between sporty track and road performance, and will be available from January 2022.

Available sizes will be:110/70 ZR 17 M/C 54W TL 07/2022 and 120/70 ZR 17 M/C (58W) TL 01/2022 (Front); and 150/60 ZR 17 M/C 66W TL 07/2022, 180/55 ZR 17 M/C (73W) TL 01/2022, 180/60 ZR 17 M/C (75W) TL 04/2022, 190/50 ZR 17 M/C (73W) TL 06/2022, 190/55 ZR 17 M/C (75W) TL 01/2022, 200/55 ZR 17 M/C (78W) TL 05/2022 and 200/60 ZR 17 M/C (80W) TL 05/2022 (Rear).
