Electric vehicle tire specialist Enso has appointed Dominic Clark as its new managing director. With decades of industry experience, he will lead the company’s continued growth in its home market and abroad.

“Dominic’s arrival comes at the perfect time to help us sustain the exceptional progress that Enso has made to date,” said Gunnlaugur Erlendsson, founder and CEO of Enso.
“His reputation within the sector is impeccable, having delivered sustainable growth throughout his career.
“Our mission at Enso is to bring better tires to as many vehicles as possible, as quickly as possible, and Dominic is the perfect candidate to help make that vision a reality.”
Enso says Clark brings an extensive background in transformation and digital disruption, adding that his record as a leader and team builder, and as an imaginative problem solver, makes him an ideal fit as the company looks to scale its less polluting, longer-lasting, efficient tires for electric vehicles.
Clark, who most recently served as chief transformation and technology officer at Direct Tire Management, is also the founder and CEO of Tires on the Drive, a company he started to address issues in the tire industry. Having additionally worked with global brands including Michelin and BF Goodrich, his depth and breadth of knowledge will be highly valuable as Enso enters its next growth phase, Enso says.
“I am delighted to have joined Enso at such an exciting time for the company,” said Clark. “The global tire industry hasn’t been disrupted in such a way before. Playing a role in changing the status quo, while improving sustainability and helping Enso to realize its full potential, is a challenge which I look forward to meeting head on.”
In related news, Enso has recently launched a new line of ultra-high-performance (UHP) tires, Enso Premium tires, for electric passenger vehicles. The tires are designed for UHP EVs like the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y. Click here to read the full story
