Michelin has unveiled the Anakee Adventure 2, a next-generation motorbike tire designed for riders who commute daily. It is primarily designed for road use but retains good off-road capability.
Key benefits include enhanced wet grip enabled by new high-performance silica-based compounds; improved longevity, with gains of 7% at the front and 21% at the rear compared with the previous generation; and enhanced riding comfort thanks to a considerable reduction in perceived noise leading to smoother, less tiring journeys. The tire has an M+S marking and an optimized tread pattern that reportedly delivers effective traction on trails, combining cutting-edge technologies to support performance and rider enjoyment.
The Anakee Adventure 2 features the group’s most advanced innovations, including Michelin 2CT dual-compound technology for durability in the center and maximum grip on the shoulders; reinforced Radial-X Evo and Aramid Shield construction for stability, comfort and resistance across varied terrains; a new tread design that balances road comfort with traction on loose surfaces; and Michelin Premium Touch to deliver a distinctive, premium sidewall appearance for trail motorcycles.
