Apollo Vredestein has launched its new Comtrac 2 all-season tire for vans and light trucks. It features a new construction, which provides a high degree of stiffness and a tread with wider longitudinal and open shoulder grooves.

A special new silica tread compound is said to reduce energy losses. This means the tire has a 11.7-meter shorter breaking distance on wet roads at 80km/h compared with its predecessor. The new version also offers 10% more stability when driving with heavy loads and a 5% improvement in rolling resistance
