Machinery maker Mondon has extended its workshops in eastern France. Due to a rise in demand for its equipment and as a result, an increase in the amount of orders, the company needed more space. The additional space will also enable engineers to fully assemble and mount machines in the workshop before shipping – a recent request from customers.

Building work on the extension began in June 2017 and finished in May 2018. Before the extension, Mondon had 600m² of office space and a 3,000m² workshop; the facility has been extended by 2,100m². Employees can enjoy the more comfortable working conditions.

The inauguration was attended by more than 250 people, including clients and partners/suppliers.

Mondon’s annual turnover, which is currently €8m (US$9m), has multiplied by 2.5 in 18 years.
