Studded rubber from Yokohama offers improved stud retention

Yokohama has launched a new studded tire for passenger cars, the iceGUARD iG65, in Russia and northern Europe.

This rubber is said to provide high levels of ice performance and stud retention. It has a greater number of studs and a new stud-hole allocation that places studs at the center of the tire’s tread. Performance on all surfaces, including on snow and on wet and dry surfaces, has been improved.
