Scandinavian cleantech company Enviro Systems is currently scaling up the industrialization of its waste tire recycling technology through the establishment of its first full-scale recycling plant in Chile with the support of tire manufacturer Michelin.
Enviro has stated its goal of achieving a recycling capacity of 900,000 metric tons of end-of-life tires by 2030. As part of its expansion plans, Enviro announced in autumn 2021 that the company had applied for an environmental permit for the establishment of a full-scale recycling plant in Uddevalla, Sweden.
In order to achieve its industrialization and expansion goals, Enviro aims to scale up its technology to enable efficient production and processing at company recycling plants.
To support these plans, Enviro has announced it will employ Fredrik Alpner as site manager at the company’s facility in Åsensbruk, Sweden, with a view to also managing the future plant in Uddevalla. With previous experience as a production manager in the global processing industry, Alpner will assume the position in mid-April 2022 and will contribute to the industrialization and commercialization of Enviro’s recycling technology.
