Tire for heavy duty loader applications launched by GRI

Sri Lankan tire developer GRI has launched its Gripex LT122 tire designed for heavy duty loader applications.

Its sturdy and robust nylon casing is claimed to provide extraordinary impact and shock resistance for a long tire life. The tread compound meanwhile ensures resistance against wear and cuts while the unique tread design has higher traction for better productivity. The Gripex LT122 features an innovative inter lug design and, overall, is said to have an unmatched puncture resistance and durability. This is of utmost importance for this tire type in tackling obstacles on the ground, which put the tire at risk of casing deterioration or even a puncture. It also ensures the least amount of downtime during operation as is possible.

GRI’s Gripex LT122 is available in sizes from 14.9-24in, with more sizes to be released soon. Also available in this range for loader applications are the Gripex LT100 (sizes from 12.5/80-18in) and the Gripex LT300 (sizes from 9-16in).

“To build great structures and roads requires vision and the equipment to bring them to life. Earthmovers, loaders and excavators rely on their tires to provide the stability needed to perform effectively. At GRI, we aim to effectively deliver the high-performance construction tires that these machines depend on to move material,” commented Dr Mahesha Ranasoma, CEO of GRI.
