Nexen Tire has inaugurated its new European headquarters in Kelkheim, combining its Germany office and the Nexen Technical Center Europe into one location.
Built on an area of 11,000m2 (36,100ft2), the Kelkheim facility was constructed in less than 12 months and a particular focus was placed on the use of environmentally friendly materials, sourced from local companies.
More than 80 employees are based at the center, which has modern and open working areas, designed to foster interactive and creative working and better communication. The facility also houses several designated meeting rooms.

The new facility will create greater synergies, enable more efficient decision making, and faster response times, strengthening our relationship with customers,” said Ho-Chan, Nexen Tire Corporation CEO.
