BFGoodrich Tires has launched its most advanced off-road tire, the All-Terrain T/A KO2, which was put through its paces at the annual SCORE Baja 100 off-road race in Mexico (click here for a video).

It features technology developed through the company’s motorsport experience and is said to deliver improved durability and traction for traversing harsh terrain, including gravel, dirt, rock, mud and snow.

The All-Terrain T/A KO2 tire is the first commercially available tire to incorporate the company’s race-proven and race-winning CoreGard technology, which improves resistance against sidewall splitting. Compared with the predecessor KO tire, the new KO2 is around 20% stronger in off-road performance. It lasts twice as long on gravel roads and 15% longer on asphalt.
