Steelastic will be presenting at Tire Technology Expo 2015, its new Assurance series of inspection systems. These are designed to identify and report defects in real time during the production of radial belt, body ply, and cap strip materials to guarantee a defective product never makes it to the tire building process. The system will identify key defects such as splice imperfections, non-uniform edges, widths, gauges, and other major defects.

The Assurance series uses the latest in 3D vision technology to achieve 100% product inspection and offers a fully automated method to guarantee quality control. Moreover, the system can be used with new or existing Steelastic belt, body ply and cap strip systems and can be easily adapted to operate with any make of machinery.

Steelastic will showcase the new vision inspection system on stand 2140 at the Expo in Cologne, Germany, February 10-12.
