RMA names new president and CEO

The Rubber Manufacturers Association has appointed Anne Forristall Luke as its next president and CEO. Luke will officially begin in January, 2016. She succeeds Charles Cannon who is retiring from the RMA after nearly eight years.

Luke has more than 30 years of Washington, DC, government relations, public affairs and executive leadership experience in both the public and private sectors.

“Leading the RMA team and its membership into the second century of support and advocacy for the great contributions of our industry is an exciting challenge,” said Gary Garfield, RMA chair – board of directors, and CEO and president, Bridgestone Americas.

“Anne brings a breadth and depth of experience in public policy and is a proven, effective and visionary leader who earned the confidence of the RMA Board of Directors after a thorough executive search process this year.”

Charles Cannon, RMA president and CEO, commented, “RMA represents an extraordinary and innovative industry and I am confident that Anne will provide strong leadership for RMA members.”
