New skidsteer rubber from Alliance Tire Group

Alliance Tire Group (ATG) has launched a new tire for skidsteer and backhoe loaders. The Trac Star ND L-4 (left) features a non-directional tread pattern for better traction when moving forward and backward, and the block pattern used is ideal for use on hard surfaces.

Angelo Noronha, chief sales and marketing – after market, Europe, said, “The large lug-to-void ratio improves tire life and thanks to the rounded shoulders this tire is also turf friendly. The shoulder blocks are circumferentially aligned, thus providing even wear, exceptional stability and a large footprint.”

Meanwhile, the Alliance Dual Master 506 tire (below) series is designed to improve the dual-tire configuration for excavators. In testing, the tire surpassed 5,000 hours in real working conditions without a single puncture or blowout.

“The unique construction of the sidewalls of these tires enables close contact between two tires. This eliminates the need to mount a special rubber ring, which was previously needed to prevent the penetration of stones between the tires,” Noronha commented.

Constructed to ensure longer tread lifetime, a comfortable ride and an overall productivity increase of the machine, the strong all-steel radial carcass of these tires also provides more machine stability, optimum puncture protection and re-tread ability.
