Marangoni reports high sales of its super-elastic tires

Marangoni has reported high sales of its Eltor EVO range of super-elastic tires for industrial handling equipment. The tire was developed with support from two international forklift truck manufacturers using Marangoni tires as original equipment on their vehicles. Just over a year since its official launch, the company has seen substantial levels of growth in sales.

The use of special compounds reduces the tire’s rolling resistance by 8% and provides significant energy savings in electricity and fuel. Moreover, its optimized structure, thanks to a deeper tread, not only reduces energy consumption by 20%, but also produces 15% less heat, resulting in an increase in tire life (+10%).

Meanwhile, the company has confirmed its interest in the French market. The company already holds a leading position in sales and service in the tire sectors for industrial handling equipment through its subsidiary MIM (Marangoni Industrie Manutention).
