Bridgestone will supply its Battlax Hypersport S23 premium sport motorcycle tire as original equipment for the latest Supersport model YZF-R7 from Yamaha Motor.
The YZF-R7 is a Supersport model that draws on Yamaha’s racing heritage, designed for both everyday usability and sporty riding. Yamaha says the chassis has been comprehensively revised to improve agility, precision and cornering response, with the company stating it delivers enhanced stability and road feedback compared to its predecessor.
The Battlax Hypersport S23 supplied for the YZF-R7 features a revised shoulder groove ratio and pattern rigidity compared to previous models, which Bridgestone says improves road contact feel, dry grip and handling agility. The rear tire uses the Pulse Groove pattern, designed to enhance drainage and wet weather performance.
Bridgestone says the range of features have been designed to ensure the tire meets the performance demands of the YZF-R7 across varying conditions.
The supply of these OR tires was made possible through close collaboration between Yamaha and Bridgestone from the early stages of vehicle development.
