Continental has been chosen as the tire partner for the limited-edition Bugatti Factor One bicycle, and has supplied a bespoke version of its Grand Prix 5000 TT TR tire.
The high-performance bike, the result of a collaboration between Bugatti and Factor Bikes, will be produced in a run of 250 individually numbered units. Each model is fitted with specially branded 30-622 Grand Prix 5000 TT TR tires, part of Continental’s latest expansion of its GP5000 range.
The TT TR tire is designed for speed-focused applications, featuring a lightweight casing construction to minimize rolling resistance. The newly introduced 30mm width increases the contact patch, improving stability and grip during high-speed cornering while maintaining efficiency over longer distances.
Continental said the tire’s two-ply casing reduces rolling resistance, positioning it as the fastest option in the GP5000 line-up. The specification aligns with the performance objectives of the Bugatti Factor One, which include aerodynamic efficiency, precision handling and high-speed control.
“We’re thrilled to have been able to work together with Continental to create these special-edition Bugatti Continental Grand Prix 5000 TT tires,” said Rob Gitelis, the founder of Factor Bikes. “We’ve partnered with Continental to provide the tires for all our bikes, and since they make the best tires in the world, it was a natural choice to collaborate with them on these very special tires for the Bugatti Factor One.”
Karsten Jacke, global head of bicycle OE sales at Continental, added, “We are highly honored to be part of this premium project. Each Factor bike begins with a non-negotiable purpose. And here, with the Bugatti Factor One, it was Bugatti’s maxim to provide nothing but the best for their customers. Both brands’ values of excellence, courage and dedication create a perfect match with Continental’s ambition to Lead the Ride. It’s just great to see this collab rolling on our special-edition Grand Prix 5000 TT TR tires.”
