Tire Technology Expo 2026.

With a strong focus on sustainability and innovation, Tire Technology Expo 2026 is shaping up to be one of the biggest and best yet. Held on March 3, 4 & 5 at the Deutsche Messe in Hannover, Germany, the show includes a superb line-up of exhibitors, conference topics and speakers, as well as a range of accredited short courses, the official Tire Technology International Awards for Innovation and Excellence, and ample opportunity for peer-to-peer networking. Register for your free fast-track exhibition entry pass here.

The exhibition

Tire Technology Expo is Europe’s most focused gathering of tire design, development and manufacturing professionals – from raw material formulation to final production. With over 240 industry-leading exhibitors, the event offers unparalleled access to the specialists, technologies and innovations shaping the future of tire design, performance, sustainability and manufacturing.

Tire Technology Expo brings together the people and processes shaping the future of global tire innovation.

Attendees include OEMs and tire manufacturers; material scientists and compounders; tire design, production, simulation and testing experts; factory and plant leaders; sustainability and recycling specialists; logistics and supply chain managers; R&D professionals; academic and research institutions; and regulatory and certification bodies.

The awards

Key industry achievements will be recognized during a live presentation of the Tire Technology International Awards for Innovation and Excellence. The world’s biggest celebration of endeavor in tire development and manufacturing covers all aspects of the modern tire business, with awards in 11 categories.

The awards aim to celebrate innovation, sustainability and excellence across the tire industry. From groundbreaking research to environmental initiatives, they recognize the individuals, companies and technologies shaping the future of tire design, manufacturing and performance. Find out more about the TTI Awards here.

The conference

The Tire Technology Expo Conference is the tire industry’s premier international event. Held over three days, it attracts over 165 expert speakers and a global audience of scientists, engineers, academics and industry professionals. The event offers a dynamic program of presentations and panel discussions focused on the latest advances in tire design, manufacturing, testing, materials innovation and sustainability.

Leading speakers include Andreas Topp, VP for platform development and industrialization, Continental Reifen Deutschland; Marcela Castaño, principal applied researcher – sustainability and circular economy, Bridgestone Americas; Christophe Durand, VP of sustainable materials and solutions, Michelin; Cecilia Malverti, material testing innovation engineer, Pirelli; and Xiao-Dong Pan, materials scientist, Zhongce Rubber Group.

The conference offers three days of innovation, insight and inspiration for the tire industry. Attendees will explore the latest in tire design, materials and manufacturing, and discover solutions for sustainability, digitalization and smarter production. With expert talks, case studies and lively discussions, it’s the place to see the future of tires and connect with industry leaders.

Short courses

Four short courses will be held concurrently with the exhibition and conference. Each has been expertly written to advance attendees’ professional journeys in their chosen disciplines.

The University of Akron Tire Mechanics Short Course is a four‑day immersive technical program held from March 2-5, starting the day before Tire Technology Expo opens. It’s designed for engineers, chemists and scientists at all experience levels who want to deepen their understanding of tire design and performance, blending core fundamentals with the latest advances in mechanics, materials and modeling. Attendees who complete the course will be awarded with a certificate from The University of Akron to mark their achievement.

The Tire Regulations Short Course takes place on March 2. Participants will gain a clear understanding of current and upcoming tire regulations, including EU and UNECE frameworks, type approval processes and sustainability legislation. Led by TÜV Süd expert Lars Netsch, the course offers practical, up-to-date insights to help professionals navigate compliance, anticipate regulatory changes and support product innovation.

The Tire Mathematical Modeling Short Course is a three-day program held on March 2-4 and designed for engineers and developers working on electric vehicles (EVs), motorsport, OEM supply or vehicle dynamics. This expert-led course provides the tools and techniques to understand tire behavior through advanced modeling, delivering insights that can be applied directly to real-world projects.

The 12th Tire Reinforcement Short Course – Materials, Applications and Fatigue Testing is a one-day program on March 2. Designed for engineers, chemists, scientists, product managers and technicians, the course provides an in-depth overview of tire reinforcement design, materials and laboratory testing. Participants will explore tire construction, reinforcement types and manufacturing methods, material properties and static and fatigue testing techniques, with practical insights for steel and textile cords.
