The conference
The Tire Technology Expo Conference is the tire industry’s premier international event. Held over three days, it attracts over 165 expert speakers and a global audience of scientists, engineers, academics and industry professionals. The event offers a dynamic program of presentations and panel discussions focused on the latest advances in tire design, manufacturing, testing, materials innovation and sustainability.

Four short courses will be held concurrently with the exhibition and conference. Each has been expertly written to advance attendees’ professional journeys in their chosen disciplines.
The University of Akron Tire Mechanics Short Course is a four‑day immersive technical program held from March 2-5, starting the day before Tire Technology Expo opens. It’s designed for engineers, chemists and scientists at all experience levels who want to deepen their understanding of tire design and performance, blending core fundamentals with the latest advances in mechanics, materials and modeling. Attendees who complete the course will be awarded with a certificate from The University of Akron to mark their achievement.
The Tire Regulations Short Course takes place on March 2. Participants will gain a clear understanding of current and upcoming tire regulations, including EU and UNECE frameworks, type approval processes and sustainability legislation. Led by TÜV Süd expert Lars Netsch, the course offers practical, up-to-date insights to help professionals navigate compliance, anticipate regulatory changes and support product innovation.
The Tire Mathematical Modeling Short Course is a three-day program held on March 2-4 and designed for engineers and developers working on electric vehicles (EVs), motorsport, OEM supply or vehicle dynamics. This expert-led course provides the tools and techniques to understand tire behavior through advanced modeling, delivering insights that can be applied directly to real-world projects.
The 12th Tire Reinforcement Short Course – Materials, Applications and Fatigue Testing is a one-day program on March 2. Designed for engineers, chemists, scientists, product managers and technicians, the course provides an in-depth overview of tire reinforcement design, materials and laboratory testing. Participants will explore tire construction, reinforcement types and manufacturing methods, material properties and static and fatigue testing techniques, with practical insights for steel and textile cords.
