New all-season rubber from Nokian launched in North America

Nokian has launched the eNtyre 2.0 all-season rubber specifically designed for North America. It features an inside/outside tread pattern, new groove designs, a modern silica compound and noise dampening technologies to greatly improve dry road handling, aquaplaning properties and wet grip without compromising winter grip, and to decrease noise levels and increase tread life, too.

According to Nokian, the new high modulus tread compound and comfort base compound work together to deliver a smooth and sporty ride. The expanding molecular structure of the silica and rubber compound together strengthen the stiffness of the tread pattern and boost the tire’s handling properties. The silica also operates across a wide temperature range, improving wet grip from spring to autumn.

Underneath, the new comfort base compound provides improved ride comfort on bumps and road cracks as well as reducing heat build-up, which improves the wear characteristics and reduces fuel consumption.
